Drink Water for Health, Healing, and Life

Water is needed to replenish the fluids lost through normal physiological activities, such as respiration, sweating and urination. So, for your body to function properly you need to consume foods and beverages, that contain water, in sufficient quantity to replace that which is lost. Beverage is a term that I use loosely. Pure clean water is the best source, as opposed to beverages such as soda and coffee, which contain other controversial ingredients.

According to Batmanghelidj, most people rely on dry mouth to signal thirst and as a result are seriously dehydrated. He posits that symptoms like fatigue, anxiety or depression indicate dehydration, which may result in serious conditions such as asthma, hypertension, brain damage, cancer, constipation, allergies and obesity.
